An excellent meal at 1802 restaurant.
The workmen arrived to start work early. We were up, breakfasted, lunch bought and packed by 10.00.
The first part of today's route was a 500 meter tunnel under the Citadel. This led on to the canal side. Excellent Tarmac paths virtually all day. The scenery was again lovely and varied. The narrower high cliff sides opened out as we rode into the Jura region. Weather was sunny and warm.
We arrived at Dole about 15.00 a pleasant 3 star campsite.
